Celebrating 50 Years of “Little House”
Jan was invited to the “Little House on the Prairie” 50th Anniversary and Cast Reunion in Simi Valley, California. It was a wonderful chance to reminisce with cast members and fans about the show’s impact on her childhood while surviving abuse and multiple kidnappings.
The show first aired in 1974, just months before Jan was abducted. Before and after the kidnappings, Jan and her sisters watched together, finding hope in the resilience of the Ingalls children. At the reunion, Jan spoke on a panel about how the show influenced her, helped sustain her through dark times, and why strong role models and positive stories matter—especially for children experiencing trauma.

- Thursdays, 7:30–9:00 pm EST, throughout April
- Short teaching segment followed by experiential work, reflection, and supportive group process
- Activities may include prompts, poetry, short-form writing, and improvised singing in a safe, supportive space
