Today Jan explores stage 4 of the 6 stages of grooming which is 'Isolating the child'. This can take many forms, but one of the ways that seems to be consistent is using secrets as a way of putting a wedge between the child and what support system they have. Another way in which this stage is carried out and can actually be seen as a parent is the manipulator taking on duties/tasks that you would generally perform, so remember to ask yourself "Would I do this for another person?".
