One year ago, we launched our peer-to-peer online community offering support, understanding, and friendship to those on the healing journey.
Over the past year we have:
- Shared our stories, triumphs, and struggles
- Learned from experts in healing through movement, music, art, and writing
- Gained tools about boundaries, understanding grooming, and navigating triggers
- Laughed, cried, and found others who truly understand

January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month
Human trafficking occurs when a trafficker uses force, fraud, or coercion to control another person for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or forced labor. If the individual is under 18, force, fraud, or coercion does not need to be present for it to be considered trafficking.
- Over 27.6 million people are currently victims worldwide—including here in the U.S.
- Despite strong laws, traffickers continue to exploit vulnerabilities everywhere.
- Everyone has the power to help prevent it.
The U.S. Department of State provides resources on how to identify and prevent trafficking.
